Pre-New Year Charity Campaign Cycle Started at GTU

A pre-New Year charity campaign has started at the Georgian Technical University, in the direction of social responsibility, within the framework of which the first event was held at the Gori Elderly Home “Your Warm Hearth”.
With the initiative and support of the Rector of the Georgian Technical University, the Head of the GTU Women’s Association - Professor Nazi Kutsiava, the Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy - Professor Liana Targamadze, and the Chairperson of the Women’s Council of the Faculty of Mining Geology, Associate Professor - Nino Adeishvili, donated first aid items and products to the beneficiaries of the Gori Elderly Home.
As the head of the GTU Women’s Association, Nazi Kutsiava noted, the association, with the support of the rector, academician David Gurgenidze, holds various charity events throughout the year for the beneficiaries of the nursing home, as well as for internally displaced and refugee children and their families.
“Our organization holds events throughout the year. First, I would like to note that this year, just like last year, we started the cycle of New Year charity events as soon as December arrived. We held the first event at the Gori Home for the Elderly. The most beloved people, our elderly, need special attention and support. Everyone was equally happy with this meeting, everyone had eyes full of joy, kindness, and gratitude. I want to thank the Rector of the Georgian Technical University, the Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy, and everyone who supported the Women’s Association in this good deed,” said Nazi Kutsiava.
