Academic calendar of the Georgian Technical University for 2023-2024 academic year

1. Administrative and academic registration of freshmen:
1. Undergraduate educational program – September 4-15, 2023;
2. Georgian language training educational program – September 4-15, 2023.

2. First (autumn) Term:

3. Training courses:

• For students of Georgian language training educational programs, for students of the first-fourth years of undergraduate education, for students of the second year of master's education, for students of the second and third years of doctoral education, as well as for all students of additional terms – from September 25, 2023 to January 20, 2024;
• For master's and doctoral students of the first term – from October 2, 2023 to January 20, 2024.

2. Midterm exam in the study component (if any) – from November 20 to November 25, 2023.
3. Final exams – from January 29 to February 10, 2024.
4. Additional exams – from February 12 to February 17, 2024.
5. Defense of master's and doctoral theses and dissertations, as well as review of prospectuses/colloquiums (if any) – from January 29 to February 17, 2024.
6. Holidays – December 31, 2023 - January 7, 2024, February 18-24, 2024.

3. Second (spring) Term

7. Training courses – from February 26 to June 15, 2024.
8. Midterm exam in the study component (if any) – from April 22 to April 27, 2024.
9. Final exams – from June 24, 2024 to July 6, 2024.
10. Additional exams – from July 8 to July 13, 2024.
11. Defense of master's and doctoral theses and dissertations, as well as review of prospectuses/colloquiums (if any) – from June 24 to July 13, 2024;
12. Holidays – from July 14, 2024.
