VISA Information

Students who require a visa to enter Georgia for study purposes must apply for a D3 immigration visa (study visa) before travelling to Georgia, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. To apply, the student must possess official documents issued by Georgian Technical University, together with all other documents required under Georgian visa regulations. The visa supporting documents — including the Reference Letter, Invitation Letter, and the Rector’s Order issued by the university — will be provided to each student upon request.

Foreign citizens legally staying in Georgia for study purposes may apply for a temporary residence permit through the competent authorities of Georgia, including the Public Service Hall or the Public Service Development Agency.

Students are responsible for complying with Georgian immigration and visa requirements and for submitting all required documentation to the competent Georgian diplomatic mission or consular office.
