''GWP'' Offers Paid Internships to Students of the Faculty of Energy
Students of the Faculty of Energy of the Georgian Technical University were met by Irakli Bakuradze, Project Manager of the Zhinvali Hydropower Plant and Deputy Head of the Electricity Generation Department of Georgian Water and Power (GWP), and Mariam Adeishvili, Senior Recruiter of GWP.

The Dean of the Faculty of Energy of the Georgian Technical University, Professor Lena Shatakishvili opened the meeting.

As the Dean stated, the Georgian Technical University needs to promote the popularization of the energy sector, employment of students, and career growth.

According to her, “GWP” is a leading company in the Georgian water supply market operating in the energy sector.

“Caring for the career growth of students is a cornerstone of the Georgian Technical University. This process contributes to the formation of the next generation of professional specialists and the development of higher or vocational educational programs, and, at the same time, aims to maintain continuous communication with the employing organizations.

More information means more motivated young people, and subsequently more qualified personnel. Students’ participation in the “GWP” paid internship program and their future employment is our main task and goal. We believe that through such meetings we will actively promote the career development of young people”, noted Lena Shatakishvili.

Students of the Faculty of Energy of the Georgian Technical University have the opportunity to undergo paid internships at the company “Georgian Water and Power” for the following vacancies: electrotechnical laboratory engineer, accounting specialist, electrical engineer, electrician, senior foreman, electro-mechanic, and locksmith.
