The project – “Women’s Tech Hub” is in its final phase

At the Georgian Technical University, the international project “Advancing Gender Diversity in Engineering - The Women’s Tech Hub” has entered an active phase.
According to the main plan of the project, the students successfully registered for the modular training programs, and the trainings for the selected students are already intensively underway.
On May 27, the first training seminar in the modules “Marketing Communications and PR Technologies” and “Entrepreneurship in Practice” was held.
The meetings were held at the Faculty of Transport Systems and Mechanical Engineering.
The training is led by professor teachers of the same faculty, who have prepared training programs within the framework of the project.
In addition, within the framework of the project – “Strengthening Gender Diversity in Engineering Women’s Tech Hub”, professors and teachers of GTU prepared a total of five training modules, namely:
• General management,
• Marketing communications and PR technologies,
• Graphic Design,
• Web. Technologies and WordPress Development,
• Entrepreneurship in practice.
Training with the mentioned modules started on May 27th and will continue for a month with different intensities.
In addition, the project also envisages meetings with successful entrepreneurs - organization of “Entrepreneurship Day” and “Competition of innovative ideas”.
We would like to remind you that the project – “Advancing Gender Diversity in Engineering - The Women’s Tech Hub” is coordinated by the Technology and Grant Projects Office of Georgian Technical University in active coordination with the Faculty of Transport Systems and Mechanical Engineering.
The project received funding under the 2023 Small Grants Program of the Democracy Commission of the US Embassy in Georgia.
