Erasmus+ - Course on Biomedical Engineering at WPUT

On 16-20 April GTU Assistant Professor Ana Pitskhelauri (Faculty of Informatics and Control System) delivered the lectures at the West Pomeranian University of Technology – WPUT (Szczecin, Poland) within Erasmus+ mobility for teaching activities.

The course covered the issues of Biomedical Engineering, including dosimetry; OSL technologies in dosimetry; means of in-vivo dosimetry; evaluation of potential risks of radioactive irradiation in computed tomography. The lectures were conducted within Erasmus+ Program KA107 Mobility Project coordinated by WPUT.

Within the mobility activities young Georgian scientist had working meetings with Mrs. Agata Bruska, Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator at WPUT; Prof. Marcin Ziolkowski, Vice-Dean for Education of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Professors of the Faculty: Wojciech Chlewicki,  Tomasz Chady, Przemyslaw Lopato, Przemyslaw Makiewicz.

Polish colleagues organized the visits at modern laboratories of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering including the Laboratory of Antennas and High Frequency Techniques, where young Georgian Assistant Professor became familiar with ongoing educational and scientific activities at the Faculty.

Mobility program covered social and cultural activities as well as sightseeing tour in Szczecin.
