Language and Culture Summer Schools

Scholarships for Students and Teaching Staff

Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia offers scholarships for students and teaching staff for participation in language and culture summer schools. This year this program   offers the possibility to take part at the Baltic International Summer School “ Communication, Technologies, Integration” (additional information – http://biss.va.lv/ ) in Valmiera, organized by the Vidzeme University College in August 1-17, 2008, or at the International Summer School “Culture, Zoology, Urbanism.” (additional information –www.rtu.lv/summerschool ) in Riga, organized by the Riga Technical University in August 4-17, 2008.

The following documents are necessary to apply for these scholarships:

1. Application form (on the websites of the summer school);
2. CV;
3. Letter of motivation;
4. Certified copies of education documents, including the list of grades;
5. Two letters of recommendation;
6. One photograph (3X4 cm).
