Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between GTU and “GM Pharmaceuticals”
Vice-Rector of the Georgian Technical University, Associate Professor Tamar Tsereteli, and Executive Director of the company “GM Pharmaceuticals” Levan Varduashvili signed a memorandum of understanding between the university and the pharmaceutical company.

The goal of the memorandum is to facilitate qualified education and professional development for university students, to plan and implement joint projects, which, on the one hand, develop the students’ practical skills, and on the other hand, strengthen the company’s research and professional resources.

The memorandum aims to establish long-term cooperation between the university and the company, which will contribute to the introduction of innovations in the relevant field and the training of professional personnel.

According to the Vice-Rector of the Georgian Technical University, the university’s goal is to provide students not only with theoretical knowledge but also with practical experience, which will contribute to their professional development.

As Tamar Tsereteli noted, within the framework of the cooperation with “GM Pharmaceuticals”, students of biotechnology, chemistry, pharmacy, and biomedical engineering will be allowed to engage in research projects and undergo practical training at a leading pharmaceutical company, which will allow them to combine theoretical knowledge with real practice and acquire the skills necessary for a successful career.

According to Associate Professor Nato Katamadze, Head of the Career Development Department of the Georgian Technical University Learning Process Management Service, the memorandum is an important step for students’ career advancement.
