“Choosing a university is not just about choosing an institution. It should be an environment that will foster growth and equip the student with the knowledge and skills necessary for success. Georgian Technical University is more than just a place to study - it is a center where tradition meets innovation and students are prepared to become leaders in their fields,” - says Tamta Bregvadze, a former GTU student.
Tamta Bregvadze completed undergraduate and graduate degrees at the Faculty of Law and International Relations at Georgian Technical University.
According to Associate Professor Mamuka Giorgadze, Dean of the Faculty of Law and International Relations, the university allows students to share their knowledge with future lawyers and diplomats. According to the Dean, Tamta Bregvadze is one among them, who, after completing her studies, became an employee of her native faculty.
“Tamta Bregvadze is among the successful students who linked her career development with her alma mater. Today she works as a senior specialist and, at the same time, shares her experience with future lawyers and leads seminars. Law is one of the most influential fields that requires not only knowledgeable individuals but also individuals with ethical, analytical thinking and a dedication to justice. Tamta is exactly such a person, I wish her success,” says Mamuka Giorgadze.
According to Tamta Bregvadze, the Faculty of Law and International Relations of the Georgian Technical University offers students a curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge with practice. Highly qualified teachers and researchers help students develop into lawmakers and law fair enforcers.
“It was at the Technical University that I allowed me to go on an exchange program to Italy, to the University of Milan, as part of the ERASMUS+ program funded by the European Union, which was a turning point in my career and personal development.
Based on my example, I believe that the style of technical university work is completely tailored and oriented to the interests of young people and to spend the best years of their student life productively and pleasantly. The university provides many opportunities to gain practical experience. From educational and research laboratories to mock trials, to internships in law firms and public institutions, students can use their knowledge and put it into practice. This experience is invaluable for the legal profession, for developing the necessary confidence and experience,” states Tamta Bregvadze.
