The purpose of the conference:
Facilitating the collaboration of Georgian and foreign students, generating innovative ideas and sharing knowledge and experience among students.
Working language of the conference: Georgian/English.
Conference format: hybrid (both in-person and online)

September 26 - Conference opening, Panel session, and Online participants' workshop

September 27 - Ecohiking in Tana protected area (Gori municipality);
September 28 - Presentation of reports, Conference closing (Boshuri, Gori Municipality)
Participation Criteria: Students from Georgian and foreign universities at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels are invited to participate in the conference. Doctoral students will have a dedicated section for their presentations.

Abstract Presentation Guidelines:
Abstracts should align with the conference theme and adhere to the following requirements;
Length: 300-400 words;
Format: word document;
Font: sylfaen;
Font size: 11;
Line spacing:1.5;
Do not include photos, graphs, or tables in the abstract
The abstract should include the following information:
Title; Student's name, surname, level of education, and the name of the higher education institution;
Supervisor's name, surname, and academic/scientific degree;
Student's contact information (email)
The abstract should be submitted in both Georgian and English (English only for international students).
There are no specific formatting requirements for the presentation.
Deadline:
The deadline for submitting abstracts and presentations is September 18, 2024, by 6:00 p.m.
Abstract Evaluation Criteria (Maximum 15 Points)
Relevance of the topic (5 points);
Research component (5 points);
Topic innovation (5 points).
The selected works will be published, and their authors will be invited to participate in an ecohiking event in the Tana Protected Area (Gori Municipality). They will also have the opportunity to present their reports to the jury at Hotel Grand Boshur in the Tana Valley (Gori Municipality), where the best reports will be identified.
Presentation Evaluation Criteria (Maximum 40 Points)
Research methodology (10 points);
Mastery of the topic (10 points);
Ability to provide reasoned answers to questions (10 points);
Technical proficiency in presentation delivery (10 points).
A certificate of participation will be given to all participants registered at the conference who will submit an abstract.
The event program will be sent to all participants.
For those attending online, the meeting link will be provided in the days leading up to the conference, no later than September 25.
