At the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy of the Georgian Technical University, a graduation ceremony was held for Bachelor and Master graduate students.
The dean of the faculty, Professor Liana Targamadze, congratulated them on the completion of their studies.
“The phase of mastering the profession in your life is over. The time is coming when the acquired knowledge should be used for the country. The Georgian Technical University allowed you to gain a European standard education, which ensures your future and guarantees your formation as a highly qualified staff.
It is very gratifying for us that many Bachelor’s and Master’s graduates expressed their desire to continue their further education at the Georgian Technical University, at the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy. I wish you success”, said Liana Targamadze.
The graduates were congratulated on the completion of the educational process by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy, Professor Maya Mshvildadze, Head of the Quality Assurance Service Mamuka Maisuradze, Faculty Manager Rezi Gurgenidze, Head of the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department Nazi Kutsiava, and faculty professors.
It should be noted that in the academic year 2023-2024, 67 students completed the course of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy.
At the solemn event, symbolic diplomas were awarded to the graduates.
For information, the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy of the Georgian Technical University has more than 100 years of existence. Teaching at the faculty is carried out in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate programs – “Chemical and Biological Engineering”; on Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate programs – “Chemistry”; in Bachelor’s and Master’s programs – “Environmental protection engineering”; in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate programs – “Metallurgy”; in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate programs – “Materials Science”; in Bachelor’s and Master’s programs – “Pharmacy”; in Bachelor program – “Food Science and Technology”. For the first time, admission to the Bachelor’s program – “Bio nanoceramic and polymer composites and expertise” is carried out.
The educational process at the faculty is adapted to the European educational space, responds to the changing demands of society, takes into account the achievements of scientific knowledge, and is subject to the inseparability of learning and research.
