Within the framework of the “Lecturer’s Hour” project at the Georgian Technical University, under the auspices of the “Nodar Tabidze University Student Club”, the third event in a row was held.
Within the framework of the project, Tata Ghlonti, assistant professor of the Faculty of Business Technologies of the Georgian Technical University of Georgia, spoke to the students on the topic – “Content”.
At the meeting, which took place in an interactive format, Tata Ghlonti spoke about the essence and creativity of content in the digital space, taking into account the relevant context, of its content - text, graphics, multimedia, as well as its essential parameters - volume, relevance, and actuality. She discussed with the students the roles of media and content creators, the importance of the content-creating process, as well as expanding the target audience and building public awareness.
As the Mentor mentioned, the content, the form and structure of which is rapidly changing and constantly evolving, reaches people through various communication channels and conveys a specific message.
According to her, content is considered as the future integrated into the present, and a good content creator is ahead of the given time in the process of creation and is oriented towards the challenges of the future.
At the end of the meeting, the mentor and students discussed the topic.
Archil Gurgenidze, the president of the “Nodar Tabidze University Club”, and a student of the Faculty of Engineering Economics, Media Technologies, and Social Sciences, said that the meeting with Assistant Professor Tata Ghlonti was interesting in many ways.
“The meeting, which was held under the auspices of our club, within the framework of the “lecturer’s hour", turned out to be very interesting and informative. Mrs. Tata Ghlonti had constant contact with the audience, which allowed us to get comprehensive information about the essence of the content. An interesting discussion took place on such issues as the development of content strategy and the definition of content lines. We spoke about the difficulties and peculiarities of forming brands in the digital space. The discussion about the behavior of the content creator in the digital space, the style of conversation, and his values was especially interesting. I thank the teachers and students of our university who were actively involved in the event. I hope that the future projects of the “Nodar Tabidze University Club” will be as interesting for the audience as the “lecturer’s hour”, said Archil Gurgenidze.
Members of the “Nodar Tabidze University Student Club”, professors, teachers, and students of various faculties attended the meeting held within the framework of the “Lecturer’s Hour” project.
