Educational environment

With complex mechanisms and tools, Georgian Technical University's quality assurance system has a positive impact on the educational environment of the university, and from this perspective, the interest of each event is united around the accomplishment of the best possible quality of human capital and other resources needed for the implementation of scientific and research activities.

The quality assurance system of the university, through standard procedures (conducting surveys and assessments, developing recommendations, planning and implementing scientific events, internationalisation, scientific dialogues, trainings, workshops, etc.), purposefully ensures the sustainable development of the scientific and academic staff of Georgian Technical University in 32 (thirty-two) fields of science.

The "Strategy Policy Document" and "Long-Term Strategic Development Plan" of the University commit to implementing comprehensive, defined, and time-bound actions to improve human capital.

In terms of professional development, the "Training Centre for Teachers and Academic Staff" is regarded as the most significant supporting mechanism for strengthening human capital, alongside events organised by the quality assurance service and other structural units of the university.

Every year, the quality assurance system envisions a resource research mechanism that will establish reliable data on the sufficiency and/or shortfalls of the resources required for the implementation of academic and scientific-research activities.
