The university's quality assurance system views internationalisation as a strategic direction that will benefit both parties and be necessary for the institution's growth. According to this perspective, the system evaluates the university's performance based on the extent of international interchange of intellectual, scientific, artistic, and cultural products, in which the university participates as both a donor and a recipient.
The system prioritises the degree of internationalisation at the student, staff (academic, scientific, administrative, and support), structural units, and institution levels. As a result, in the university's strategy document, action plans, and daily operations, special priority is given to the acquisition of international accreditation, the diversity of foreign language educational programmes, the development and implementation of joint quality and double-degree educational programmes, the expansion of exchange programmes, the attraction of foreign students, international academic and scientific events, and international cooperation.
