The second and fourth batch year students of the Bachelor’s Program in Animal Husbandry of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Chemical Technologies of the Georgian Technical University conducted another experiment within the framework of the educational-practical component.

As part of the experiment, up to 20 chicks and more than 30 quail chicks of two different breeds were successfully hatched in an incubator for artificially hatching young from eggs of agricultural birds.

This type of practical work allows students to master modern animal husbandry technologies, study the incubation process in depth, and observe the stages of bird development from egg to adulthood.

Such experiments not only help develop professional skills but also allow students to gain real practical experience, which is necessary for a future career in agricultural and animal husbandry.

According to the Dean of the GTU Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Chemical Technologies, Head of the Bachelor’s Program in Animal Husbandry, Manana Tsintsadze, created all the necessary conditions for students’ study and professional development.

According to Liana Targamadze, under the leadership of Manana Tsintsadze, the educational process is based on a close connection between theoretical knowledge and practice, which allows students to participate in real educational and research experiments, master modern technologies, and gain practical experience, which is necessary for successful work in the modern agricultural and livestock sectors.

“Within the framework of the Bachelor’s Program in Livestock, we attach special importance to practical training, which allows students to gain real professional experience. The learning environment created by the program’s head, Manana Tsintsadze, fully meets the requirements of modern agricultural education and provides students with the opportunity to engage in educational and research experiments, learn about the incubation process, and master modern methods of livestock farming in practice. Such activities contribute to the development of professional skills in the youth, the formation of a culture of responsibility and independent work, and their formation as competitive specialists in the future,” says Liana Targamadze.
