The IV International Scientific and Practical Conference, “Modern Challenges and Achievements in Information and Communication Technologies - 2025,” dedicated to the 90th anniversary of BSU, was held in Batumi. It was organized by Georgian Technical University, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Dresden University of Applied Sciences (Germany), and Bielsko-Biała University (Poland).
The conference aimed to provide a platform for discussing current trends, challenges, and achievements in information and communication technologies, to encourage the exchange of innovative ideas, strengthen international scientific cooperation, and explore developments in information technologies. Participants included leading scientists, researchers, doctoral students, and professionals from Georgia and other countries. The conference featured presentations on information and communication technologies, physics and mathematics, and humanitarian and social sciences.
According to the Dean of the GTU Faculty of Informatics and Control Systems, the conference will significantly contribute to deepening the connection between science and practice, the development of modern technologies, and the professional growth of young researchers. As Professor Taliko Zhvania states, the organizers of the event expressed their readiness to continue international cooperation in the coming years and involve even more participating countries and universities.
“I congratulate Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University on its 90th anniversary, and wish success to its colleagues and students. We are pleased that for the fourth time we had the opportunity to ask important questions to representatives of leading universities in Georgia and Europe about the challenges in information and communication technologies. This platform allows both experienced scientists and young researchers to present their works, share their experiences, and discuss future technological directions together. Such international cooperation is of great importance for our country and the university space - both in terms of improving academic quality and putting innovative ideas into practice,” said Taliko Zhvania.
