According to GTU Vice-Rector, Professor Tamar Lominadze, the expositions aroused wide interest among the festival guests, which once again emphasizes the important role of the university in the country’s scientific development and promotion of innovations.

“The Science Festival creates a special opportunity for both the academic space and young people who want to realize their potential and make their contribution to the scientific development of the country. It is extremely important for the Georgian Technical University that our students and young researchers actively participate in such events, as this is an important platform for them not only to share knowledge but also to integrate into research activities. The university is constantly trying to promote the development of scientific research, initiate innovative projects, and deepen international cooperation. The multifaceted research activities underway in our 13 faculties and 15 scientific research institutes clearly confirm the important role of the Georgian Technical University in the context of both the country’s engineering and technological progress, as well as the global scientific discourse. I believe that the involvement of students in the popularization of science is not only desirable, but also necessary, because they are the future generation that will continue the advancement of science and the intellectual life of Georgia, and demonstrate our potential on an international scale,” says Tamar Lominadze.
