Vice-Rector of the Georgian Technical University, Professor Tamar Tsereteli, and Director of “GEO-M-Tex” LLC, Nino Nikabadze, signed a memorandum of cooperation, according to which students of bachelor’s and professional educational programs of the Faculty of Transport Systems and Mechanical Engineering will undergo practical training at the company.
Within the framework of the memorandum, students will have the opportunity to gain practical experience directly at the company’s production facilities, which will significantly strengthen their theoretical knowledge and enhance their professional skills.
As Professor Tamar Tsereteli noted, the implementation of industrial practice in a real working environment is of paramount importance for the modern educational process. Such partnerships strengthen the connection between education and business and also establish quality-oriented learning approaches.
“Industrial engineering is one of the most important fields in the modern world. Its development determines the country’s economic growth, efficiency, and technological progress. Innovative mechanical systems ensure sustainable development and compliance with environmental standards. Today, when the world prioritizes green technologies and focuses on modern technologies, it is our obligation to provide students with a highly qualified education that will enable them to implement innovative ideas. The memorandum signed with “GEO-M-Tex” serves this very purpose. Partnership with the company will allow students to gain practical experience in a real industrial environment. They will learn about modern technologies, innovative processes, and deepen the skills necessary for modern industries. The memorandum is a step that will contribute to deepening the relationship between the university and the business sector, and ultimately increase the competitiveness of our graduates in both the local and international markets,” states Tamar Tsereteli.
