The Georgian Technical University and the State Service for Veterans Affairs will promote access to education for war and defense forces veterans and their children by implementing joint measures, including the State Service for Veterans Affairs, in agreement with the university, to finance the annual tuition fees of veterans and their children in an amount not exceeding 50%.
The memorandum of cooperation on this matter was signed by Tamar Tsereteli, Vice-Rector of the Georgian Technical University, and Major General Koba Kobaladze, Director of the State Service for Veterans Affairs.
As the Vice-Rector noted, the Memorandum of Cooperation envisages a partnership between the parties. Within the framework of their competence to jointly plan and implement activities that will promote access to education for students who are war and defense force veterans or their family members.
