At the Georgian Technical University, organized by the Faculty of Law and International Relations and the GTU Christian Culture Research Laboratory, continue public lectures on human rights and their protection for graduating pupils of public schools.

The public lecture, which was held for students of Kakutsa Cholokashvili Tbilisi Public Schools No. 178 and Tbilisi Public Schools No. 133, was led by Kakha Dzagania, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Law and International Relations, Head of the Christian Culture Research Laboratory, and Khatuna Saginashvili, Consultant of the Laboratory, Doctor of Social Sciences.

Assistant Professors of the Faculty of Law and International Relations - Irma Gikashvili and Nana Rosephashvili attended the educational event.

At the public lecture, the speakers discussed the impact of legislative changes on the development of human rights protection and their application.

Associate Professor Kakha Dzagania explained to the pupils the nuances of human rights and the legislative articles. Dr. Khatuna Saginashvili, in her speech, focused on the commitment and the youth’s responsibility to the country.

As Kakha Dzagania notes, the cooperation between the Faculty of Law and International Relations and the GTU Christian Culture Research Laboratory allows teenagers to hold interesting and topical discussions on eternal values and universal or indivisible topics.

According to him, rights determine the dignified existence of every person. Thus, fundamental human rights are based on the concepts of dignity and equality, and the university is a space where future generations receive comprehensive information on the eternal, universal, and indivisible issue - human rights.

After the theoretical part, the organizers offered the students role-playing games, during which the teenagers demonstrated their logical thinking, oratory skills, and erudition. The educational event on the topic of human rights ended with the presentation of honorary diplomas to the pupils.
