As Academician David Gurgenidze noted in his speech, the interrelationship of faith and knowledge has always been of paramount importance in mankind’s history. The Georgian Orthodox Church remains a symbol of wisdom and education, guiding society in spiritual matters and on the path of intellectual and moral development. In Georgia, this mission has always been special because the identity and educational traditions of the nation are closely connected with the Christian faith.

“The Scientific and Practical Conference “Formation of the Main Aspects of the Christian Psychology Vision” clearly emphasizes the significant role of the Orthodox Church in the education, personal development, moral, and spiritual upbringing of our youth.

The Church has a decisive role in shaping the moral orientation of generations, and in instilling the values of compassion, honesty, and responsibility necessary for personal and professional development.

For us, the Georgian Technical University, close and long-standing ties with the Georgian Orthodox Church are of great importance, not only from a symbolic but also from a practical point of view, as we strive to create an educational environment where faith and science are in harmony. We firmly believe that technical knowledge, when combined with ethical and spiritual wisdom, provides the opportunity to form individuals who achieve success and serve society with moral clarity and responsibility.

The topic of today’s conference is particularly relevant in the modern world, where technological progress, along with new opportunities, creates new challenges for the human psyche. Christian psychology, with its deep spiritual insights, offers us an important perspective on mental well-being, human relationships, and personal growth. Discussing issues that connect theological wisdom with modern psychological research means taking an important step toward a society formation that respects science and moral values equally. I believe that the topics brought up for discussion at the conference will deepen our knowledge and further strengthen the role of faith in ensuring the education and well-being of youth.

My heartfelt gratitude to the organizers of the conference, scientists, and guests who gathered at the Georgian Technical University to share their knowledge and experience,” said David Gurgenidze.

The scientific-practical conference “Formation of the Main Aspects of the Christian Psychology Vision” was held in two sections. In the first section, reports were presented to the audience by Rev.
