13 faculties researchers and students and 15 scientific research institutes of the Georgian Technical University participated in the science festival – “Young Scientists for a Better Future of the Planet” in Batumi.
At the festival, 40 stands were allocated to accredited universities in Georgia, and on 6 of them, the works of scientists and students of the Georgian Technical University were presented.
According to the vice-rector of GTU, the contribution of the science of the Georgian Technical University to the education of the young generation of researchers is immense. According to Tamar Lominadze, Georgian Technical University successfully participated in the exhibitions in Gori and Kutaisi within the festival framework.
“The scientific and educational event, which was held with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth and the organization of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, aimed to support young researchers and scientists. The festival aroused great interest among schoolchildren, students, and young scientists. Such events are a kind of motivation for the next generation, and besides, they promote the promotion of Georgian science. I thank the faculty representatives and institutes of the Georgian Technical University for their active and successful participation in the festival,” said Tamar Lominadze.
At the science festival – “Young Scientists for a Better Future of the Planet”, the exhibitions presented by the Georgian Technical University were highly appreciated by the visitors.
