According to him, the forum was about such important topics as the green economy, the challenges facing it, issues of digitization, infrastructure, the challenges and sustainability of the economy of the next generation, and issues of creating national strategies and guidelines.

“Today, the importance of scientific and technical information (STI) has a great impact on the sustainable development of educational and scientific processes and significantly contributes to the formation of a modern knowledge-based society. Scientific and technical information (STI) is a solid foundation for innovation, which provides the opportunity for educational institutions and scientific research organizations to maintain leadership in technological progress and the adoption of world best practices.

Institute of the Georgian Technical University “Techinform” is a leading organization in Georgia in the field of dissemination of scientific and technical information (STI) and is an excellent example of how consistent, structured access and targeted use of scientific knowledge can contribute to the sustainable development of the academic and research ecosystem of our country”, said Carlo Kopaliani.

According to Professor Mariam Razmadze, deputy director of “Techinform” Institute, at the forum, the members of the delegation of the Georgian Technical University spoke about the role of scientific and technical information in Georgia and its importance in the process of sustainable development of the scientific ecosystem.

The participation of the Georgian Technical University in the forum – “New Generation Economy: Challenges and Prospects - ECO Think-Tank Forum” turned out to be significant and useful.

On the one hand, as participants in the panel discussion, we had the opportunity to engage in an open debate about the challenges related to the world’s sustainable development goals and strategies for their achievement, using the example of different countries. On the other hand, on the example of a university with a century-old history and our country, we shared the experience of the university and “Techinform” Institute and their influence on the formation of the scientific-educational ecosystem. As a result of the forum, new partnership relations were established and future cooperation plans were drawn up with scientific and research institutions under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and with Chinese research institutes”, announced Mariam Razmadze.
