After the film screening, the authors talked about the initiative to create a short animation, as well as the development of constitutionalism in Georgia, to the public gathered in the educational and practical laboratory of diplomatic skills of Michel Mouskhely.

As the dean of the Faculty of Law and International Relations of GTU, Professor Irakli Gabisonia noted, the animated film clearly and concisely shows the path that the Constitution of Georgia underwent. According to him, the film is interesting and informative for citizens of any age.

“Statehood, political and legal culture was formed in Georgia for several millennia. In our history, many monuments of law belong to the source of constitutional law, however, the beginning of constitutionalism is considered May 26th, 1918, and the first constitutional document adopted by the National Council - the Act of Independence of Georgia, which was followed by the adoption of the most important document - the first constitution of February 21st, 1921.

The authors of the project tried to clearly and succinctly convey the history of the Constitution of Georgia in a short animation so that it would be interesting and informative for a citizen of any age. It is gratifying that the joint initiative of students and teachers of the Faculty of Law and International Relations of the Georgian Technical University took the form of a project and became the winner of the grant program of the Ministry of Justice”, said Irakli Gabisonia.

For information, the grant competition announced every year by the Ministry of Justice, is to strengthen the protection of human rights, strengthen legal security, promote the participation of civil society, and support civil initiatives.
