A Memorandum of Cooperation Was Signed Between GTU and Chu Hai College of Hong-Kong
The Vice rectors of the Georgian Technical University - Tamar Lominadze and Tamar Tsereteli, Chairman of the Supervisory Board (President) Zurab Gudavadze and representatives of the Department of International Relations of GTU - Marika Zviadadze and Nino Zhizhilashvili, met to the professor of Hong Kong Chu Hai College - Oleksandr Rogach and associate professor Oleksandr Pidchosa, on a working visit to the university. 

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Georgian Technical University and Chu Hai College of Hong Kong to promote joint educational and cultural cooperation.

According to the vice-rector of GTU - Tamar Lominadze, the cooperation between the two higher education institutions includes joint educational activities, research activities, visits, and exchange programs of scientists, teachers, and other personnel.

Also, according to the memorandum, Georgian Technical University and Hong Kong Chu Hai College will hold joint events, jointly implement projects, and hold international events to increase brand awareness.

“Georgian Technical University is one of the successful Engineering and Humanitarian higher educational schools in Transcaucasia. 

Our scientific-academic staff actively cooperates with the hugest international research organizations and centers, such as CERN in Switzerland, KEK and J-Parc in Japan, FERMILAB in the USA, we cooperate with the Willich Center, and the DAAD organization.

We have close contacts with leading universities in Germany, Italy, France, and Europe. Multifaceted international scientific collaboration with Chu Hai College in Hong Kong is important to us. 

Our university has an excellent educational-scientific infrastructure and material-technical base in the form of modern laboratories, which we can use for successful collaboration and common goals.

Within the framework of the memorandum with Hong Kong Chu High College, several educational activities will be planned. The memorandum will promote international exchange opportunities for HKCHC students through various initiatives”, said Tamar Lominadze.

Hong Kong Chu Hai College is ranked 519th in China and includes faculties of Engineering, Arts, and Social and Business Sciences.
