Georgian Technical University announces “Ideas Competition”

The Georgian Technical University announces the “Ideas Competition” for the academic and scientific circles representatives. The competition aims to generate potentially competitive project ideas for active integration in the international scientific space and research internationalization at the university level and to select them competitively.
The university administration wishes to involve as many representatives of academic and scientific circles as possible in the “Ideas Competition”.
At this stage, a specially appointed commission will select 2 innovative ideas that fully adapt to the requirements, goals, and expected results of the grant competitions announced by the European funds.
In the next stage, the University Office of Technologies and Grant Projects will select the appropriate foreign grant program for the mentioned 2 ideas and in direct coordination with the author of the idea, will start active work to submit a grant application to the foreign fund.
The University Office of Technologies and Grant Projects appeals to those who wish to participate in the “Ideas Competition” to take into account that this initiative is focused on discovering research ideas in the scientific-academic circles of the Georgian Technical University, as well as activating the process of generating new ideas.
The University Office of Technologies and Grant Projects in the future will support the authors whose ideas within the framework of the competition, will not pass the selection stage.
Interested participants should download the application form, fill it out, and send it to the Office of Technology and Grant Projects at the address: Grantsoffice@gtu.ge.
Only GTU employees can participate in the “Ideas Competition”.
The deadline for applications is September 27.
