On October 4-14, at GTU Department of Physics was organized “Autumn Lectures in Tbilisi-2”, within the scope of agreement signed between GTU and Julich Scientific-Research Center (Germany).
The lectures and practical works within “Autumn Lectures in Tbilisi-2” covered Nuclear Physics and Medical Physics.
The lectures were delivered by Professors of Cologne, Aachen and Bonn Universities (Germany), including Director of Julich Scientific-Research Center, Prof. Sebastian Shmidt, Prof. Hans Stroeher, Prof. Nadim Jon Shah, Prof. Ghaleb Natour, Prof. Detlev Gotta, Dr. Andro Kacharava, Dr.Irakli Keshelashvili, Prof. Diter Evershei.
By the decision of German side, GTU students Dito Shergelashvili and Grigol Abuladze have been selected to visit Juelich institutes for a period of 8 months to perform their Master thesis research within the Joint Call (SRNSF-FZJ) program.
Herewith Georgian students were invited to FZ-Juelich for about 3 weeks, tentatively in Spring 2016, including GTU students Mikhael Kelenjeridze, Anna Gogishvili, Tamar Khechiashvili, Michael Kitaevich, Vladimer Tvaliashvili as well as Zaza Chubinidze (TSU) and Mikael Gagoshidze (AGU).
