On May 27, By the Decision of the GTU Academic Council for Supporting fruitful scientific and technical co-operation between the Science and Technology Center in the Ukraine (STCU) and the University Mr. Andrew A.Hood, Executive Director of STCU was awarded the Degree of Honorary Doctor of the Technical University of Georgia.
