On December 9-10, GTU representatives participated in the international forum - CARE4BIO in Brussels.
The delegation selected through a competition, represented Georgia and the university on this important platform, including Giorgi Mikiashvili, Head of the GTU Technology and Grant Projects Office, and Tea Murvanidze, Head of the GTU International Relations Department.
The visit was carried out within the framework of the NCP_WIDERA.NET project, with a travel grant issued by the Georgian National Office for “Horizon Europe”.
Priority objectives of the visit:
Presentation of innovative ideas: submission of projects related to the topics of “Horizon Europe” Pillar 2, Cluster 6 (Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources);
Strategic Partnership: face-to-face meetings with foreign colleagues to form new international consortia;
Integration into the European space: strengthening the role of GTU in the European scientific ecosystem and planning joint research projects.
This visit is another step forward on the path of GTU’s internationalization, promoting the active involvement of our scientists and administrative team in international educational and research processes.
