The Tutoring and Mentoring Center at Georgian Technical University organized a training session titled “Stress Management Techniques for Internally Displaced Students”, designed for Georgian and Ukrainian students.
The training aimed to share practical tools with the participants that will help them understand stress, manage their emotional state, and effectively navigate daily academic or personal challenges. The session was conducted in an interactive format, combining a theoretical overview with hands-on exercises. Psychotherapist Sophiko Gogochashvili facilitated the training.
Ukrainian students were particularly actively involved in the training, who expressed their sincere gratitude for the relevance of the topic and the high professionalism of the trainer. As they noted, such meetings are significant for them and expressed their desire to continue trainings related to stress management in the future.
The Tutoring and Mentoring Center of the Georgian Technical University continues to implement initiatives that promote students’ psycho-emotional well-being, adaptation and academic success in a multicultural educational environment. It is noteworthy that the Center’s activities are carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ project “PROMENT” funded by the European Union.
