The Rector of the Georgian Technical University, Academician David Gurgenidze, on behalf of the university community, expresses his sorrow over the sudden death of the outstanding employee of the administration - David Makasarashvili and extends his condolences to his family and relatives.
“At the age of 71, our exceptionally beloved colleague - employee David Makasarashvili left us. He first entered the Polytechnic Institute in 1971 as a student, graduated with honors from the Faculty of Automatics and Computing Technology, and since then, for many years, he has served the university with dignity at his native faculty and in the Department of Monitoring the Educational Process - in a leadership position. His professional qualities and human relations have always deserved the greatest respect and love from each of us.
With his kindness, benevolence, humanity and professionalism, David Makasarashvili contributed to the development of the Georgian Technical University. His memory will always remain among the university’s employees and professors.
We express our condolences to the family of David Makasarashvili, his friends and relatives,” is stated in the rector’s condolence letter.
