Registration for Doctoral Programs is Starting

We offer information regarding registration deadlines, required documentation, and the examination schedule for applicants wishing to enroll in doctoral educational programs at Georgian Technical University for the 2025/2026 academic year.
- Registration for those wishing to enroll in the doctoral educational programs at Georgian Technical University will take place through the electronic platform - register.gtu.ge, from September 10 to September 16, 2025 (inclusive).
- According to the prerequisites for admission to the doctoral program, a foreign language exam will be held on September 18, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM, at GTU’s Building I, at the Examination and Electronic Learning Resources Center (Computer Center 1 – 6th floor; Computer Center 2 – 1st floor; 68 Kostava St.).
- Initial results of the foreign language exam will be published on September 19, 2025. Appeals will be accepted from September 18 to September 22, 2025, until 12:00 PM (excluding Sundays), at the examination venue. Final results, including those after appeal review, will be published on September 22 on GTU’s official website.
- Interviews with the temporary faculty admission commissions will be held at the respective faculties on September 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM.
- Interview results (extracts from the minutes of the temporary faculty admission commission – the list of applicants to be admitted) will be published on the GTU website on September 25, 2025.
- Appeals regarding interview results will be accepted from September 25 to September 26, until 4:00 PM.
- The final list of admitted applicants (considering appeals) will be published on September 29, 2025, on the GTU website.
- Within five working days after the publication of final results (from September 30 to October 6, 2025, excluding Sundays), admitted applicants are required to sign both academic (educational) and administrative (financial) agreements with the university.
