Computer Skills Testing Schedule for Structural Units

Georgian Technical University will conduct a comprehensive attestation process during June–July 2025 to evaluate the alignment of employees’ professional qualifications and competencies with the responsibilities and requirements of their current positions.

The attestation is conducted in accordance with the "Labour Code of Georgia", the Law on "Higher Education", the Charter of GTU, other university regulations, and the employment agreement (appointment order) between the employee and GTU.

The principles of attestation are: a) objectivity; b) transparency; c) non-discrimination; d) publicity; e) collegiality; f) correctness.

To assess whether the employee’s qualifications or professional skills match their position or duties, they must demonstrate knowledge of the obligations defined by Georgian legislation, the employment contract, the university charter, internal labor rules, the code of ethics, and mandatory acts issued by university governing bodies (Academic Council, Representative Council, Rector, Chancellor) necessary for the execution of their job duties.

The employee is required to appear before the attestation commission at the time specified by the Rector's order and to undergo an interview and computer skills testing, conducted in accordance with the principles of objectivity, transparency, non-discrimination, publicity, collegiality, and correctness.
