Workshop on International Social Housing

On October 4 was opened an exhibition of 10 social housing projects for the city of Tbilisi developed by the Workshop on International Social Housing organized by the Embassy of Switzerland and SDC Regional Office, Tbilisi City Hall, the Academy of Architecture of Mendrisio and GTU Faculty of Urban Planning and Design.

A lecture by Marco Cameroni, Head of Culture and UNESCO, Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland was conducted as well.

5 students of GTU and 5 students from the Academy of Architecture of Mendrisio, will develop projects of housing in urban areas of Tbilisi first in Tbilisi and then in Mendrisio.

The project is supported by the Academy of Architecture of Mendrisio in collaboration with Faculty of Urban Planning and Design of GTU; SDC-Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation; UNECE-United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.
