According to the head of the GTU Department of Student Services, Culture, and Sports, Levan Pipia, the tournament format ensures maximum participation of students in the competition, stimulates their motivation to compete, and allows them to demonstrate their sports skills and competitiveness to the fullest. According to him, in the first stage, a series of matches are held at each faculty, which will reveal the best faculty players.

“With such sports initiatives and activities, the administration of the Georgian Technical University and personally the rector, Academician David Gurgenidze aim to diversify student life and increase the motivation of young people. We are confident that participation in the tournament will have a positive impact on the development of students’ personal qualities and their academic success,” notes Levan Pipia.
