Attention to Students Transferring to GTU Through External Mobility!
A person wishing to transfer through mobility, who will register on the electronic portal of the LEPL - Management Information System (from January 29th, 2025 - February 7th, inclusive) and will obtain the right to transfer to GTU through mobility, must immediately apply to the university to submit the necessary documentation for internal registration.

A person transferring through mobility, from February 12th, 2025 - February 14th, inclusive, must submit the application Annex 1 (downloadable document) and the attached documentation Annex 2 to the Administrative Building of the Georgian Technical University, at the address: Tbilisi; 77 Kostava str.; 3rd floor; Room 334. Documents will be accepted from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

A student wishing to enroll in the university through mobility must submit the following documentation:

  • Copy of ID card;
  • Copy of military conscription certificate (for males).
  • Educational card (mark sheet) certified with a seal;
  • Certified copies of all orders in the personal file (initial enrollment; suspension/restoration/termination of status);
  • Document recognizing education received in a foreign country (if any);
  • Bachelor - copy of secondary education certificate;
Master - copy of bachelor’s diploma or equivalent document (see note);

Doctoral - copy of master’s diploma or equivalent document (see note).
 
Educational programs for which interviews are held:

Bachelor’s educational programs of the Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism and Design (Bachelor’s educational program “Architecture”; Russian-language Bachelor’s educational program “Architecture”; Bachelor’s educational program “Fashion Design Technologies”). Applicants for mobility must undergo an interview, which will be held on February 6th, 2025, at 11:00. (Address: Tbilisi; Kostava #68, GTU Building I, 4th floor, room 402 A).

Interviews for applicants for mobility to the International School of Design English-language Bachelor’s degree program – “Design” will be held from February 4th to February 6th, 2025, inclusive, at 12:00 (Address: Tbilisi; 75 Kostava Street, GTU Building VIII; 2nd floor; Auditorium 14).

The relevant faculty will inform the applicant for mobility no later than February 17th, 2025, about the credits counted and the academic year determined on this basis.

The applicant for mobility is obliged to familiarize himself/herself with the conclusion and on the same day, declare in writing his/her consent or refusal to transfer to GTU on a mobility basis. Otherwise, the university reserves the right not to consider the issue of his enrollment in GTU on a mobility basis without prior notice.

Please consider:

Receipt of documents and application for consent/refusal regarding transfer to GTU must be made personally by the applicant or his/her trusted person on the basis of a notarized power of attorney.

Note: The documents submitted by applicants for mobility to the Master’s and Doctoral programs listed below will be accepted subject to the prerequisites for admission to the relevant master’s and doctoral programs.

Master's degree program

Oil and Gas Technologies (Russian-language)

A person who holds a bachelor's degree or equivalent academic degree in engineering, production and construction, as well as in natural sciences, mathematics and statistics (geology, geophysics, chemistry) is eligible to study in a master’s degree program.

Forestry

A person with at least a master's degree (01) in Agricultural Sciences, (05) /Natural Sciences, or an equivalent academic degree is eligible to study at a bachelor's degree program.

Livestock farming

A person who holds a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent academic degree is eligible to study in a master’s degree program (according to the detailed field of the study classifier: “Fisheries”; “Veterinary Science”; “Veterinary Science – Unclassified”; “Plant and Animal Husbandry”; “Biology”, it is mandatory to present a certificate/document confirming proficiency in English at level B2.

A person who holds a master’s degree or equivalent academic degree from the detailed field of the classifier of fields of study: Construction and Civil Engineering is eligible to study.

Military Engineering

A person who holds a master’s degree or equivalent academic degree from the detailed field of the classification of fields of study Emergency Management, is eligible to study.

Water Resources Engineering

A person who holds a master’s degree or an equivalent academic degree from the detailed field of the classifier of fields of study is eligible to study: Environmental Science; Ecology

Transport

A person who holds a master’s degree or equivalent academic degree from the broad field of the classification of fields of study: engineering, manufacturing, and construction is eligible to study.

Mechanical Engineering and Technology

A person who holds a master’s degree or equivalent academic degree from the broad field of the classification of fields of study: engineering, manufacturing, and construction is eligible to study.

International Relations

A person who holds a master’s degree or equivalent academic degree from the detailed fields of the classification of fields of study: social sciences, humanities, law, public administration, security and defense is eligible to study.

Informatics

A person who holds a master’s degree or equivalent academic degree in the following fields of study: “Informatics”, “Engineering”, “Exact and Natural Sciences”, “Economics”, is eligible to study.

Mathematics

A person who holds a master’s degree or equivalent academic degree from a narrow field of the classification of fields of study: mathematics and statistics is eligible to study.

Control Systems, Automation and Test Engineering

A person who holds a master’s degree or an equivalent academic degree from the narrow field of the classification of fields of study, “Engineering and Engineering business”, from the detailed fields: “Electronics and Automation”, “Electricity and Energy”, “Motor Vehicles, Ships and Aircraft”, “Engineering and Engineering business – Unclassified”; from the narrow fields: “Information and Communication Technologies”, “Mathematics and Statistics” is eligible to study.

Biomedical Engineering (English-Language)

A person who holds a master’s degree or equivalent academic degree from a narrow field of the classification of fields of study: “Engineering and Engineering business”, “Healthcare”, “Biological and Related Sciences”, “Information and Communication Technologies” is eligible to study.

Economy

A person with a relevant education, a master’s degree or an equivalent academic degree is entitled to study in the detailed fields of the classification of fields of study – “Economics”; “Educational Sciences"; “Political Sciences and Foundations of Citizenship”; “Social and Behavioral Sciences”; “Accounting and Taxation”; “Finance, Banking and Insurance”; “Management and Administration”; “Marketing and Advertising”; “Law”; “Statistics”; “Tourism”; “Mathematics”; “Informatics”; “Philosophy”; “Healthcare and Social Welfare”; “Engineering and Engineering business”.

Social Sciences

A person who holds a Master’s degree or an equivalent academic degree (broad field of the classifier of fields of study: 01 Education; 02 Arts; Humanities; 03 Social Sciences; Journalism and Information; 04 Business, Administration and Law) is eligible to study;

Theology - History of the Georgian Church

A person who holds a Master’s degree or an equivalent academic degree (Broad Field of Study Classification: 01 Education; 02 Arts, Humanities; 03 Social Sciences, Journalism and Information; 04 Business, Administration and Law) is eligible to study in a doctoral program.


A student enrolled in GTU through mobility will sign an academic and financial agreement with the faculty after the issuance of the order. The order on enrollment in GTU through mobility will be issued no later than March 1st, 2025.
