A group exhibition of students of the Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism, and Design – “Beauty Lost in Reality” was held at the Georgian Technical University, in the “Universe” gallery.
The exhibition included 60 works created by 10 students of the bachelor’s Architecture program - canvases, black-and-white graphics, collages made of various materials, miniature paintings, and large panels.
The dean of the faculty, teachers, students, as well as guests - famous artists and gallerists, gave a high evaluation of the students’ works.
As the dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism, and Design of the Georgian Technical University, Professor Nino Imnadze noted, that the student exhibition was dedicated to the search for lost beauty in existence.
According to Nino Imnadze, young people confronted pragmatic reality with colorful visions and presented the best works that would decorate any famous gallery.
“It is impossible not to admire the works that our students presented. Their world vision, creative thinking, wonderful range of colors, amazing plasticity, and composition, unique architectural objects on canvas, paper or large panels, portraits, unusually interesting collages - all this boldly confronts our pragmatic reality and is saturated with an insatiable desire to search for lost beauty, all-encompassing love. “Beauty Lost in Reality” - 60 works of 10 students of the bachelor’s program of architecture unite under this idea, which, I can confidently say, would decorate any famous gallery.
Young people brought to the fore what is most lacking in today’s pragmatic existence literature, creativity, painting, and pure color.
We thank the students for the extraordinary exhibition and the high mood that enveloped each of us. We would like to thank the rector, Academician David Gurgenidze, the professors and teachers of our faculty, the university gallery “Universe” and its director, Professor Lali Ghogheliani, who is always ready to host student exhibitions of the Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism, and Design, and for supporting creative processes at the university. With the support of the creative process it becomes possible to reveal talents, which is a strong incentive for any student,” said Nino Imnadze.
The students’ exhibition of the Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism, and Design in the “Universe" gallery – “Beauty Lost in Reality” - lasted for three days. The university exhibition space was open to any visitor.
