The rector of the Georgian Technical University, Academician David Gurgenidze, on behalf of the university community, expresses his sorrow over the death of Lasha Tsagareishvili, a graduate of the Faculty of Transport Systems and Mechanical Engineering, along with his colleague, and expresses his condolences to the families of the railway workers.

Two employees of “Georgian Railway” were killed in an accident on the Didube-Avchala railway section. One of the deceased is 23-year-old Lasha Tsagareishvili, a graduate of the Georgian Technical University - distinguished by his humanity, kindness, exceptional warmth, and good studies. Lasha will never be forgotten by his university, teachers, and fellow students - he will always remain in our thoughts and memories.
