The swimmers of the swimming pool of the Georgian Technical University – “Water Species Center – Tonus” took part in the open draw of the Ljubljana Cup in the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana.
 
According to information, the open draw of the Ljubljana Cup was held in the following age groups: absolute - born in 2005 and older, 2006-2007; Boys and girls born in 2008-2009; Girls and boys born in 2010-2011.

Club teams of Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, and different age groups of the Georgian national team participated in the competition. Among them were the members of the Georgian national team who trained at the pool of the Georgian Technical University  – “Tonus”.

The Georgian Technical University swimming pool – “Water Species Center – Tonus” swimmers won 9 gold, 10 silver and 3 bronze medals. Among them: Mamuka Shengelia (3 gold, 5 silver, 1 bronze); Mikheil Seredinsky (2 golds); Sandro Qviloria (3 golds, won the Slovenian Cup among the 2008-2009 born “Fina” in 3 distances); Akaki Mghebrishvili (2 silver, 1 bronze); Giorgi Ugrekhelidze (2 silver); Aleksandre Jikidze (1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze) and Sally Sherbaeva (2 silver).
