At the Technical University of Georgia, the famous Italian designer Antonio Buonfiglio gave a public lecture on the topic – “Alchemic transformation, from pristine matter to sublime creations".

Antonio Buonfiglio introduced his creations to the students of the International School of Design of Georgian Technical University. In his speech, the Italian designer focused on different materials, their use, importance, technical issues, and problems.

The famous Italian designer was invited by the Technical University of Georgia. As the manager of the International School of Design Nino Akhobadze has stated, Antonio Buonfiglio loves Georgia very much and agreed to give a public lecture to the students with great pleasure.

“Antonio Buonfiglio participates in many personal and group exhibitions. His first international and personal exhibition - Kunst Im Kreisehaus, took place in 2003. The exhibition cycle continued across Europe. He began his career as a painter, then moved on to ceramics and sculpture. Antonio Buonfiglio works with various materials, including marble, stone, and several metals. He is one of the best in his profession. Thus, presenting his public lecture to the students of the International School of Design is one of the most important parts of our faculty work. I would like to emphasize that the International School of Design actively cooperates with the world’s leading universities, famous designers, and highly rated professionals in the field. They arrive here and give public lectures for students, which helps to raise the knowledge for future designers”, said Nino Akhobadze.

In the future, the famous Italian designer plans to hold a three-day workshop for students of the International School of Design.
