Who will be awarded the GTU award "Gold Medal"

The award of the "Gold Medal" has been established by the Academic Council of Georgian Technical University.  This decision was reached by the members of GTU's Academic Council at the meeting dated May 19, 2022.

The "Gold Medal" is a Georgian Technical University honour presented for outstanding contribution to the university.

The resolution states that a citizen of Georgia or a foreign nation, or a stateless person, would receive the "Gold Medal" in appreciation of their exceptional contribution to the growth, recognition, and promotion of Georgian Technical University.

 The "Gold Medal" is granted by decision of the university's Academic Council, based on the rector's suggestion.

The rector of Georgian Technical University will formally present the recipient, the award, and the appropriate certificate.

Since the inception of the GTU award "Gold Medal," 56 people have received it, including both Georgian and international citizens.
