On March 19-23 the representatives of the Faculty of Architecture/University of Lisbon – FA/Ulisboa (Portugal), Prof. Antonio Castelbranco and Prof. Pedro Miguel Gomes Januario, had been visiting Georgian Technical University within Erasmus + mobility project coordinated by FA/Ulisboa.
Portuguese Professors had the meetings at the Faculties of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design and Agricultural Science and Biosystems Engineering. At the meetings with the students and Professors-teachers of the faculties Portuguese Professors discussed the issues of architecture field including evolutive architecture, urban planning and ecological footprint, measuring human impact on the biosphere, urban planning mistakes of the West, paradigms and solutions in sustainable urban planning, etc.
Mobility schedule included working meetings at GTU International Relations and Standards Office and discussions about about ongoing joint projects and prospects for future cooperation.
Portuguese guests met Ms. Lika Glonti, Head of National Erasmus+Office as well. Actual issues related to ongoing Erasmus+ project were discussed at the meeting.
Mobility program covered social and cultural activities and Prof. Castelbranco and Prof. Januario visited Parliament Library where they met with the members of the government, representatives of architecture schools and professional community.
