On 15 -19 May, Assistant Professor Özgür OYACIOĞLU-KALKAN from Afyon Kocatepe University – AKU (Turkey) has been visiting GTU to deliver the course about mathematics within Erasmus+ mobility project, coordinated by AKU.

Ms. Özgür OYACIOĞLU-KALKAN is an Assistant Professor at the Afyon Vocational School of AKU. Turkish scientist has been visiting GTU Faculty of Informatics and Control Systems within Erasmus+ mobility for teaching activities. The course covered the issues of Lorentz-Minkowski space.

At the meeting with Prof. David Natroshvili, Head of the Department of Mathematics, were discussed the issues related to the Maths education and teaching methods in Turkey and in Georgia.

Mobility schedule included working meeting with the representatives of GTU International Relations and Standards Office as well. At the meeting with Prof. Otar Zumburidze, Head of the Office, Assistant Professor Özgür OYACIOĞLU-KALKAN talked about her experience and scientific activities in the field.
