On February 09-10 Prof. Grzegorz Raczka from Poznan University of Life Sciences (Poland) visited Georgian Technical University in order to discuss co-operation details in Erasmus+ frames.
It should be noted that GTU is a partner university within Erasmus+ ICM project coordinating by Poznan University of Life Sciences. The project provides opportunities for GTU and Polish university students and academic staff to participate in mobility and do an exchange during upcoming academic year in the field of forestry.
During his visit at GTU Prof. Raczka met Prof. Zurab Gasitashvili, Deputy Dean for Science; Prof. Otar Zumburidze, GTU Institutional Coordinator and Head of International Relations and Standards Office, Prof. George Kvartskhava, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Biosystems Engineering and other GTU academic staff and administration representatives engaged in mobility activities.
At the working meetings were discussed the issues related to the implementation of the ICM project, including agreement, mobilities' regulations and related details as well as planned activities. Herewith were considered the perspectives of new joint research and educational projects between the universities.
Polish guest visited GTU unique labs at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Biosystems Engineering and became familiar with research activities conducted at the Faculty.
