From October 8 to November 8, GTU Associate Professor Khatuna Chapichadze delivered the lectures at the VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic) within Erasmus Mundus INFINITY Mobility project.
The lectures were related to the actual issues of Georgia and its integration processes into EU and NATO, neoliberal policy in Georgia, integration processes in the Central and Eastern Europe, Georgia’s experience of neoliberal economic and social reforms/policy with the focus on fiscal policy and public spending, as well as to the feminist economy in the CACEE regional and local economy (challenging neoliberal intervention).
During her visit to the Czech Republic, on October 12 – 16, Dr. Khatuna Chapichadze participated in the 6th International Week in Ostrava and met Dr. Mária Jašková, Head of the International Office at the Faculty of Economics of the VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava, as well as Ms. Lenka Fabíková, Head of Students' Mobility Department. At the meetings there were discussed the issues concerning the cooperation and signing relevant memorandum between Georgian Technical University and VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava.
