GTU in ERASMUS+ mobility project

3 Georgian universities including Georgiuan Technical University (GTU), Tbilisi State Medical university (TSMU) and Akaki Tsereteli State University (ATSU) participate in the ERASMUS+ mobility project 2015/2016 coordinated by the West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szczecin, Poland and realised in the framework of ERASMUS+ Programme, Action 1 KA107 “Higher education student and staff mobility between Programme and Partner Countries”.

By joining the project as the partner, GTU agrees to respect the quality requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education in all aspects of the organisation and management of the mobility, in particular the recognition of the credits and learning outcomes achieved by student at the partner institution. 
In the academic year 2015/2016 the following flows to WPUT, Poland are planned:

STUDENT MOBILITY:
1 flow from GTU (1 student of the 2nd cycle, area: electronics and automation or inter-disciplinary programmes) lasting ca. 5 months (spring semester 2015/2016)
The period spend at WPUT Poland does not prolong the studies as it will be fully recognised by GTU.

STAFF MOBILITY:
2 teaching flows (offer opened to all Georgian universities participating in the project) lasting 5 days (min. 8 teaching hours, areas in agreement with individual inter-institutional agreements) (fall semester 2015/2016)
1 training flow from GTU lasting 5 days (topic: high quality academic mobility of students and staff in the view of ECHE– formal and administrative aspects) (September-October 2015)
Selected students and staff members will receive ERASMUS+ financial support.
