Presentation “Cities that feed us”

On May 7 at the GTU Faculty of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design, PhD Maria de Fátima Orta Jacinto from the University of Lisbon (Portugal) conducted the presentation “Cities that feed us” within her research project under the Infinity Program (Erasmus Mundus).
The research considers the issues regarding how urban planning and urbanism can develop urban policy strategies and design solutions that allow the promotion of food self-sufficiency in the cities, mainly in Lisbon and Tbilisi.
Prof. Gocha Mikiashvili, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Lado Vardosanidze, the supervisor of Ms. Jacinto in Tbilisi, and other Faculty Professors attended the presentation.
After the presentation was conducted discussions about above mentioned issues.
