Maltese Architect Lino Bianco conferred Honoris Causa
On 17 March, Maltese Architect Lino Bianco was conferred Honoris Causa at the Faculty of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design of Georgian Technical University.
The Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design Professor Gocha Mikiashvili had proposed Lino Bianco, a Professor of the International Academy of Architecture, to the Council to be elected Professor Honoris Causa. The Council unanimously resolved to elect him for his significant contributions to architectural practice and education.
The last architect who was elected Professor Honoris Causa of Georgian Technical University was Daniel Libeskind (in 2012).
