German Scientists conferred an
Honorary Degree of DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA
of the Georgian Technical University
On July 8, Prof. Dr. Hans Stroeher, Director of Nuclear Physics Institute of the Research Centre Jülich and Prof. Dr. Sebastian M. Schmidt, Member of the Board of Directors of Nuclear Physics Institute of the Research Centre Jülich, were conferred an Honorary Degree of DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA of the Georgian Technical University in Recognition of the contribution to fruitful cooperation with Georgian Technical University and scientific and technical support of Georgian students within the Georgian - German Science Bridge.
Noteworthy, Georgian Technical University and Jülich Research Centre have been collaborating for years within Georgian-German Science Bridge. The Georgian and the German scientists are jointly implementing international projects that promote the scientific research activity success in Georgia.
