Scholarships to students
“Erasmus Mundus” master in Smart Systems Integration – a Scottish/ Norwegian/ Hungarian collaboration, supported by the European Union, also giving scholarships to students.
Background information:
Vestfold University College (HiVe) proudly announces that EU has granted “Erasmus Mundus”-status for a joint MSc degree in “Smart System Integration”, given by the consortium Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh, UK), Vestfold University College, and Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary). The students admitted are taught their first semester in Edinburgh, the second semester in Vestfold, and the third semester in Budapest. For the fourth and last semester, the students will choose one of the three institutions for their master project. The MSc in Smart Systems Integration covers microsystems and microelectronics, and how to combine these to form integrated systems. The first cohort of students started Autumn 2013 (in Edinburgh). Now we call for applicants starting Autumn 2014.
The students eligible for applying this joint MSc are bachelors (or close to finishing their BSc) in electrical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, physics, materials science, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering or a closely related discipline.
EU grants scholarships to students in Erasmus Mundus programmes, covering tuition fees and living costs.
The application deadline for the next cohort is 9 January 2014.
